英国摄影家Thom Atkinson 拍摄的一组名为“Soldiers Inventories”的系列组图，照片拍摄的是1066 年到 2014 年的英军单兵装备，共13张图片，横跨近1000年。

13张图，代表着英国军事史上13次里程碑式的战争。

1000年，物质，技术都在不但的进步，但从这些图片中看到的是，早年手工打造的兵器，服装，都比近代的更美。
